Resources

  • Barwon Health’s Palliative Care Program has launched the “My Palliative Care Toolkit,” a palliative care resource by LGBTIQA+ people for LGBTIQA+ people.

    This resource provides tips for your journey through palliative care and has been designed with terminology and resources that are specific to LGBTIQA+ community.

    It has been created in conjunction with four Consumer Advisors who are members of the LGBTIQA+ community.

Support Services

  • Switchboard provides peer-driven support services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, intersex, queer and asexual (LGBTIQA+) people, their families, allies and communities.

    It has a range of different programs offering peer-to-peer support in areas including gender and sexuality, diverse relationships, suicide prevention, family violence support, anti-racism advocacy, and social inclusion for older LGBTI community.
